Now Lync2010 Communicator Integrates with BPM !!

Singularity’s TotalAgility 5.1 suite BPM & case management integrates with Microsoft Lync2010 for a wide range of collaboration capabilities, ranging from process design to live ‘in flight’ case management.

The main idea/motive behind this integration is to improve the focus and productivity across the entire BPM lifecycle by easy communication and information sharing between the Process Designers, Developers and the Owners.

Instant Messaging, Conferencing, Screen Sharing(App or Desktop), whiteboarding and many more features can be explored from this Collaboration to bring closer every party involved (be it the customer/developer/manager/tester)

With Instant feedback and Issue resolution by getting valuable inputs from the peers on the fly, the productivity and efficiency can be increased.

Pegasystems’ BPM Product (PRPC 6.1v) which comes with a jazzy look and feel has an in built messenger for updation and chatting (i.e it updates if anyone has checked in or checkout a file….who modified any Items). No live interraction one-o-one.

But this a step forward where the interraction can take place closely.

One thing that still keeps me wondering…or is it if i have missed something!!…

“Wats a big deal if i dont go ahead with this integration….I can definitely use the external LYNC2010 Application for achieving all the functionalities and features…Just clubbing the communicator with the BPM for the heck of using it….looks pointless”

Totally agree if the Client is against Microsoft Communicators in its environment…this will be a boon where some of its features can be levereged.

An thoughts around this ??

Happy Learning 🙂
